From One Mine to Four Continents

Founded in Perth in 1984, Prestige Mining began with a single open-cut iron ore operation in the Pilbara. A decade of disciplined reinvestment expanded us into copper in Zambia, gold in Ghana, and thermal coal in Indonesia — before the 2010s brought a decisive pivot toward clean energy.

Today, our renewable portfolio generates more electricity than our mine sites consume. The surplus — sold to regional grids under long-term PPAs — has become one of our fastest-growing revenue streams, and a template for how resource companies can lead, not merely adapt to, the energy transition.

Two businesses. One integrated model.

Two businesses. One integrated model.

Mining generates the raw materials the world needs. Energy powers the transition to a lower-carbon economy. Prestige operates both — and the intersection is where we create our greatest value.
